Porcelain veneers, also known as  porcelain laminates, are one easy way to give you the perfect smile. Many people are either born with discolored or misshapen teeth. Other people’s teeth are  decayed with unsightly stains, chips or are fractured. Porcelain veneers or laminates allow us to give them perfect teeth in the most minimally invasive way possible. How does it work?

We remove a small layer of tooth structure, usually .5-1 mm. We then make an impression which we send to the laboratory.  In the lab, the porcelain veneer is made to fit those patients teeth and mouth. We use smile design principals that take into account many factors including, tooth size, color, angulation, shape, length,hums and negative space. When we are satisfied with the results, they are cemented. They tend to have great longevity. I have cases that are in the mouth for over twenty years with absolutely no problems.
