Here is how it works. We do a smile evaluation of your mouth and determine the right shape and color. On the first visit we prepare the teeth. A very small 1 mm layer of tooth is removed. This makes room for the veneer. A temporary is made. This is often nicer than the original teeth. Jerusalem dentist, Dr. Ari Greenspan can give you beautiful teeth.

On the second visit, we try them in and get your ok. A special composite cement is used and you go home a happy patient.

What’s the difference between dental bonding and porcelain veneers

Dental bonding is a tooth colored (composite) resin material that is light activated and done in one visit . Porcelain veneers can mask dark stains better with the more durable porcelain material. They are very thin veneers of porcelain that are bonded to your teeth. This procedure takes two visits in our practice. Porcelain veneers, also called porcelain laminates, are stronger than dental bondings and less prone to staining.

Types of Fillings

Where silver (amalgam) and gold were all that were used in the past for fillings in back teeth, today tooth-colored porcelain or composite are used.
